| Start by using cable that has been prepped using a coax cable stripper. (See our other guide on stripping coax cable *Click Here*) |

| Line up connection on center conductor of coax cable. Make sure that the shielding on the cable is not touching the center conductor. Carefully seat the connector on the cable pushing connector until snug. |

| Connector should fit snugly on the coax cable. |

 |

| Using the Platinum Tools SealSmart Compression Tool (16201) compress the connector completely. |
 |
 |
|
| This is how the connector should look when fully compressed. Connector should fit tightly on cable. If connector pulls off, check to make sure that the connector was compressed completely. |
